I imagine Cupid has upgraded by adding a laser sight to his Bow of Luv. I further imagine that, instead of a pinpoint, the beam is in the shape of a little heart.

I have this image of a guy and gal out on a date, chatting over dinner, when suddenly this little red heart-shaped dot appears on his forehead. Maybe accompanied by that "charging" electronic whine noise. Next thing you know, BLAM, he's in love.
