It just occurred to me that we will never have direct linkages between the brain and the computer because it would allow the bastards to shoot unsolicited advertisements directly into our cerebral cortexes.

These are the same greedy, unscrupulous assholes who are keeping me from having a jetpack or a flying car thanks to their unfounded nuisance lawsuits. They care for nothing and no one except how they can exploit something for their own profit.
