Makes Ya Think

The people of Waverly, Minnesota get to see the biggest ball of twine in the world every day.

That's funny that you mentioned that. 2 weekends ago, I was driving out to a friends land to shoot rifles and I drove right through there. I laughed when I saw that the twine ball is the pride of the town!!

I'm not from MN by the way. Just up here for work. I think not being from here made it even funnier for me!

Wow. To think I've lived in MN all my life (31 years now) and not only have I never seen this ball of twine, I didn't even know it lived in this state. I *really* need to get out more.

The ball of twine is actually in Dassel, MN the town just before Waverly. Waverly is the hometown of the late Hubert H. Humphrey, Vice President under President Lyndon Baynes Johnson, who happens to be my Birth President. In other words the President of the US when I was born. I always ask people who there Birth Presdent is, it's an unassuming way of guessing ones age.
